  • 3 x Production Team Managers vacancies – Full Time

We are seeking three individuals to join our Production Team as Team Managers.

Previous experience of working as Team Managers in FMCG is essential 

The Candidate:

Ideally the candidates will be self-starting, motivated individuals with great organisational skills and a good eye for detail. Problem solving and fantastic written and verbal communication both internally with colleagues and externally with customers will be critical.  Whilst you will be working within a team, you will each have your separate responsibilities, customers and production lines. Therefore, as an individual you need to be proactive and hands on – driven by a desire to ensure that all key tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled and that the best possible results are achieved for both customers and internal stakeholders.   Bradburys is a fast paced environment so being able to respond with speed, confidence and clarity will be a necessity.

The Role:

Duties will include:-

  • Promoting and adhere to all business standards and achievement of business KPIs as directed by Operations Manufacturing Manager
  • Promote a culture that embraces people safety and a food safety culture
  • Oversee quality checks, metal detection and paperwork, ensuring all are carried out to  the required specification
  • Organise the labour for the production teams to meet the daily production plan.
  • Maximise efficiencies by minimising down time and waste, managing staffing levels and overseeing quality
  • Proactively managing and developing the teams in line with the company processes
  • Work within the people development process, completing PDPs timely and positively and provide ongoing support for all employee development
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Resolve people related problems, queries and conflicts in a fair, consistent and timely manner
  • Proactively develop improved ways of working and implementing change, led by example to embed company values and behaviours in the workforce.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude to continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure they are able to meet the expectations of their roles and are working within all company guidelines.

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • To conduct yourself in a safe and diligent manner and comply with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Uphold and promote company policies and procedures, promoting those specifically to your area of work, including Equality and Diversity.
  • To be conversant with and participate in activities and developments relevant to the post.
  • To maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • To present and promote an appropriate public image in representing Bradbury’s
  • To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required for the post.

 

Essential Criteria

 

  • Management Qualification such as ILM Level 3 in Management
  • Proven Leadership skills in managing teams
  • Proven FMCG background
