Bradburys are recruiting for a Data / Business analyst working within the Finance Team. 

Responsibilities

The Business / Data Analyst will be responsible for collating, reviewing and presenting information to assist management in decision making in order to:

  • Improve sales and increase margins; and
  • Drive efficiencies and cost savings throughout the business.
  • The role will include working with the staff at all levels across the departments in a range of projects to increase both productivity and profitability.
  • Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into a summary format that enables management to make decisions.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the results as needed.
  • Work closely with the operational / commercial team

Operational                                                          Commercial

  • Review staffing levels per line; Promotions review and analysis;
  • Review of operational costs and efficiencies; New product launch review;
  • Review of transport costs; De-list review;

Essential Skills & qualifications

  • Work independently with users to define concepts and drive efficiencies under the direction of department heads.
  • Challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally.

Health & Safety Manager

Purpose of the Role 

Manage and oversee the Health & Safety of the site. The application of occupational health and safety measures across an organization. This includes conducting risk assessments and safety inspections, creating and disseminating health and safety guidelines, and training employees and management on compliance practices. Additionally, Safety Manager are responsible for investigating incidents to establish causes and preventive measures. They also ensure that all safety operations comply with local, HSE regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing health and safety plans.
  • Review and updating existing policies
  • Enforcing policies and evaluating practices to ensure compliance with legal guidelines and preventative measures.
  • Advise and instruct on various safety related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc)
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
  • Conducting training sessions and monitoring compliance.
  • Recording, investigating accidents and providing recommendations for improvement. Involvement with insurance for health and safety.
  • Overseeing risk assessments, safety inspections, and training employees on compliance practices.
  • Initiate premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g., not using protective equipment)
  • Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to Board/SMT.

We have an exciting vacancy within our Sales team for the role of Account Co-ordinator predominantly within the retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping manage customer accounts within the sales team alongside the account managers. The role will see you working cross functionally across the business, developing projects and customers across the retail sector. The ideal candidate will need to be organised, self-motivated and have the ability to multitask on a daily basis with a high attention to detail.

The role Key responsibilities:

  • Sales administration including new line forms internally and for customers, promotional forms and general business administration.
  • Using Company systems such as Syspro and PLM to drive tasks and activities
  • Managing and preparing sample requirements including booking out, production trials, mock ups, presentation and administration, sample submission forms and couriers.
  • Support customer on site visits and to prepare for external customer meetings/events and be able to attend these and contribute effectively where appropriate.
  • Proactively raises and resolves problems and issues
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork and administration are completed to Bradburys procedures.
  • Assist with Management of costings alongside Finance, understanding the key importance of margin.
  • Project management alongside the Account Manager, ensuring successful running from start to finish.
  • Ensure an effective working relationship is maintained with all key internal stakeholders, with a focus on communication.
  • Work alongside Account Manager and Supply Chain to track and analyse sales figures.
  • Provide marketing support when necessary

Job Description

  • Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics for all levels of procurement activities, including supplier performance, purchase order placement and material shortage elimination.
  • Accountable for day-to-day procurement activities ensuring customers’ needs are delivered in budget and within our agreed supplier SLA requirements.
  • Managing and oversee supplier relationships reviews and visits, negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes (and contracts) and establishing and nurturing strategic partnership relationships where appropriate
  • As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contribute to the development of Bradburys strategic direction
  • Set a high standard of team management including objective setting and personal development plans to support the company appraisal process.
  • Directly responsible for sourcing packaging and Ingredients, negotiating and placing of contracts with suppliers within budget
  • Providing the business with up-to-date market and product information to enable informed business decisions to be formulated
  • Communicate with suppliers when escalated from supply chain where problems are encountered with regards to delayed deliveries and quality issues
  • Liaise with technical department with regards to investigating and take corrective action if purchased materials do not meet specified requirements.
  • Identify and suggest new suppliers to the Company. Ensure a thorough and comprehensive vetting process is undertaken
  • Reduce stock write offs to agreed minimum yearly level in liaison with supply chain department
  • Ensure all purchases fully comply with legislative and Company Health and Safety
  • Manage supplier relationships, using supplier performance management tools,
  • Undertake visits to existing and new suppliers when required
