A vacancy has arisen for an NPD Co-ordinator

The role:

Bradburys development of new products is key critical to the future of the business. This commercial based role will manage the NPD process from concept to implementation, developing products and packaging solutions which sustain long term growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the internal NPD project stream from concept/trial stage through to launch
  • To understand consumer needs drawing from the wider category team and develop clear NPD plans which will drive business
  • To understand products in the market in order to capitalise on new product opportunities
  • To project manage customer NPD briefs and plans from concept to implementation
  • To understand and develop new packaging innovation
  • To manage sample and production trials with operations
  • Work with and support the commercial and business teams to deliver clear NPD strategies based on Bradbury business priorities
  • Working closely with Technical dept. re. NPD /Specifications and to ensure process is followed on products for quality/performance/date life etc.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Manage internal NPD projects in the business
  • Manage the weekly NPD meetings – driving actions and progressing projects
  • Effective communication and working relationships at all levels, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Attend and contribute to training, team briefings and meetings
  • To respond positively to any reasonable request from a Manager or Customer
